OUR MISSON

Our mission is to provide immediate relief, supportive services, and pathways to positive mental health, employment, permanent housing and lasting solutions to end homelessness. CARES will always advocate for systemic change to create lasting solutions for homelessness.
Thomas County CARES is a faith based nonprofit 501(c)3 organization based in Thomas County, Georgia, dedicated to collaborating with agencies and municipalities to provide housing, employment, physical & mental health, and educational services to individuals facing poverty and homelessness. Our unique approach involves meeting individuals where they are and assisting them in achieving their goals.

Thomas County CARES is committed to helping those experiencing homelessness and/or hunger. We are open to share a conversation over a meal or a cup of coffee. We will do our best to assess your unique situation and link you to the resources needed to help you recover from your current situation and regain control over your life . We are here to help you survive in the places you find suitable.
